About the exhibiton
Galeria Murilo Castro, one of the most relevant galleries in Brazil, has begun its expansion, and is inaugurating an exhibition space in Miami. On November 17th, the gallery will open its doors with an original exhibition titled, “This is Brazil,” which will feature works by Anna Bella Geiger, Amelia Toledo, Camille Kachani, Felipe Barbosa, Luiz Hermano, Marcos Coelho Benjamim, Rosana Ricalde and Vítor Mizael.
“Galeria Murilo Castro brings together an important roster of artists that attracts collectors from all over the world. In addition to bringing us closer to our clients and collectors outside Brazil, this expansion will also give us the chance to reach a new audience due to the exposure Miami receives during Art Basel” .
Galeria Murilo Castro is a contemporary art gallery that originated in Belo Horizonte in 2002. Through its exhibitions and artist representation, the gallery highlights both established and emerging artists. In addition to exhibitions and participating in numerous art fairs, Galeria Murilo Castro also curates a series of lectures that connects the community to artists and art industry insiders through shared learning and dialogue. -
